The Role
We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work on cutting-edge medical devices, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop, test, and refine innovative designs that will impact patient lives. This is a unique opportunity to grow in the medical device industry, contributing to both design and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative medical devices, from concept to prototype.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Perform testing, validation, and simulations to ensure design feasibility.
- Generate prototypes for testing and demonstration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to process improvements.
- Document the design process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and scalability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Onshape).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Interest or experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
