Lynx Financial Crime Tech is looking for a Junior Business Intelligence & Performance within the finance area based in its Madrid office.

 

Position: Junior Business Intelligence & Performance.

Type of contract: full time.

Location: Madrid.

What you will be doing

As a Junior Business Intelligence & Performance you will work within the finance department, assigned mainly to business intelligence and performance measurement, management dashboards creation and FP&A tasks. The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:

  • Identify valuable data sources and automate data gathering processes across the company.
  • Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Improve recurrent reporting and ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze large amounts of information to identify trends and patterns.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Build predictive models and ‘what-if’ simulations.
  • Present information using data visualization techniques.
  • Participate in implementation of tools and processes.

 

Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.

 

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathemathics, Statistics, Physics or equivalent field.

 

Skills & knowledge
  • Knowledge of:
    • SAS, SQL, R, and Python;
    • business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView…).
  • Strong
    • math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra);
    • financial modeling and Excel skills.
  • Willing to learn and develop financial concepts (profitability, pricing, etc.) using data analysis.

 

Languages
  • English: advanced level; verbal fluency as it is necessary to communicate with countries in English.
