What you will be doing
As a Cybersecurity Technical Specialist you will part of the Cyber team in Lynx, ensuring that the cybersecurity posture and controls are effectively protecting company’s information and systems with a 360º view. You will help in different fronts:
- Ensure deployment of cybersecurity tools and protections.
- Manage cyber solutions and tools to effectively handle potential cybersecurity threats.
- Enforce security configurations across Lynx systems, communications, and architecture.
- Coordinate vulnerability identification activities and track remediation.
- Advise and assess Lynx’s software product areas in terms of cyber.
- Propose and deploy new solutions and capabilities.
- Manage and handle cybersecurity incidents.
- Collaborate within the cyber certification processes (PCI-DSS, ISO27001…).
Experience
- 6+ years of experience cybersecurity operations or similar positions.
- Experience in the financial/banking industry.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- Cybersecurity certifications is a plus (CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GCIH…).
Skills & knowledge
- Experience in cybersecurity:
- controls and best practices;
- solutions such as EDR, DLP, vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys), firewalls, IDS/IPS.
- Knowledge in:
- threat analysis and incident response;
- computer forensics;
- Cloud (AWS) security and architecture;
- Linux environments, virtualization, and container security.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify security threats.
- Advanced level in English.
Languages
- Spanish;
- English: advanced level; verbal fluency as it is necessary to communicate with countries in English.
