The virtual session of the FPCM Health Grants for Start-ups and SMEs draws the financing panorama in the sector.
Last Thursday, June 24, the session Health Grants for start-ups and SMEs was held. The webinar, organised by the FPCM together with Evolution Europe and the Madri+d Knowledge Foundation as part of the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), was attended by 50 attendees via the Zoom platform.
The presentations of the five speakers didactically summarized the different options of financial aid in the health sector available through national schemes and the European Commission. Pilar Muñoz explained with examples the different levels of TRL (Technology Readiness Levels) and the regulatory framework of the health sector and Tomás Pulido detailed the CRL and IRL (Commercial and Investment Readiness Levels, respectively). Alberto Verdú and Rodrigo Alonso then detailed the financing schemes in Spain and the EU in the sector, to give way to Reyes Sansegundo, who focused on the support services for participation in European funds offered by Madri+d.
