Hovering Solutions Ltd. drones: from FPCM to the depths of society

Share

The drones of Hovering Solutions Ltd., located at the Fundación Parque Científico de Madrid (FPCM), work underground, in civil structures and other difficult-to-access environments.

Exploring subway tunnels or sewers, chimneys and other conduits, examining the condition of structures inside and out, monitoring mining operations – earth movement, waste deposits, etc. – or inspecting explosive atmospheres are some of the specialized tasks performed by the drones of this emerging company. The technology developed by this Madrid-based engineering start-up offers millimeter precision in tasks in such diverse fields as civil engineering, mining, and the environment. This achieves much better results than conventional techniques without drones.

In a recent article published in El Español, Fran Espada, CEO of this FPCM-based company, details the particularities of their approach. The article also highlights some of the companies for which Hovering Solutions Ltd. works, such as Canal de Isabel II, Iberdrola or Endesa, and the future possibilities of this technology.
