XIZAN’s My Solar Plant project has been selected to be part of the “Innovation Gallery” showcase at GENERA 2019, which takes place from February 26 to March 1, at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid.
This section celebrates its eighth edition with the title “A New Scenario of Self-Consumption” and aims to showcase some of the main lines of research currently taking place in renewable energies and energy efficiency.
The 11 selected projects have been chosen by a committee composed of accredited professionals in the sector who have evaluated the degree of innovation of the submitted candidates, as well as their contribution to improving energy efficiency, their applicability, and their strategic capacity to positively influence the development of the renewable sector.
XIZAN’s My Solar Plant will be exhibited in a space or mural with explanatory posters for each of the selected projects.
XIZAN – FPCM (2018)
XIZAN SL is a startup created in December 2017, born with the initial objective of developing and launching to the market a modular photovoltaic generation system of its own design called My Solar Plant, which is characterized by being high-performance, lightweight, manageable, compact, portable, and foldable. Each module comprises a self-supporting structure with a 2-axis solar tracking system (solar azimuth and elevation) and semi-flexible photovoltaic panels. The system can reach a power range of domestic and small business levels determined by the type and number of modules used and is completed with a compact element that integrates a hybrid inverter and a lithium battery. The idea is that the user can have a genuine personal solar plant installable in minutes, which can be easily installed, uninstalled, and transported, and whose tracking system works anywhere in the world without requiring reconfigurations by the user.
The project, integrated since last October in the Madrid Scientific Park Foundation, is currently in the demonstration phase and is scheduled to soon begin a new stage involving the final development of a first product version, its industrialization, and homologation.
