The Think Digital session, Think Europe: Digital Transformation showcased existing digitalisation services and options.
On Tuesday, July 12, 2022 , the Think Digital session, Think Europe: Digital Transformation, was held. The webinar was organized by the FPCM with the Association of Entrepreneurs of Henares (AEDHE), the FUNDITEC technology center and the company INNOCV Solutions S.L. AEDHE is a partner of the FPCM in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Madrid consortium, while the last two entities are incubated in the Park.
EEN can help!
To begin with, Pilar Gil, Director General of the FPCM, welcomed and presented the Park. Next, David Arbelo, Resp. of Park Projects, introduced the theme and the speakers. The first was Ignacio Vilela, Director of Innovation at AEDHE, who summarised the EEN digitalisation support services. These are divided into three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. The process consists of two steps. In the first stage, a basic digital assessment is carried out to know the company’s digitalization potential. In a second step, the degree of digital maturity is evaluated, to direct the company towards the most appropriate services for its situation. In addition to detailing the services at the three levels, Vilela outlined the fundamental lines of the European Commission’s Digital Europe, European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) and Get Digital, Go Green and Be Resilient programmes.
Digital transformation in the Park
Then it was the turn for the contributions of entities of the Park. David Pérez focused on cybersecurity in relation to artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain. He described how Funditec offers assessment, accompaniment and analysis to identify AI-related vulnerabilities. He also discussed how to apply AI to business and how to deliver secure blockchain solutions.
Finally, Ricardo Ferrero, from INNOCV Solutions, focused on accelerating digital growth. To this end, he first made a timely distinction between the concepts of digitalization and digital transformation and the historical evolution of the latter. He then went on to define the five pillars of digital transformation to link with the way INNOCV brings value to its customers. His presentation ended with the analysis of a success story: the development of a digital banking app that has won several awards for its innovative nature.
With all this, the attendees were able to take away a good summary of what digital transformation entails, what support is offered from the EEN and different aspects that must be considered when addressing it. A useful lesson that we hope will serve to promote this transformation in more and more companies!
