Successful attendance and participation in the virtual session of the FPCM Grants 2021 for Patents and Trademarks, on Thursday, March 4.
The session, organized by the FPCM together with ClarkeModet and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office O.A. (SPTO) as part of the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), was a success in terms of attendance and participation. It had 100 attendees through the Zoom platform and more than 50 through the streaming broadcast on the FPCM YouTube channel, who asked numerous and interesting questions to the speakers.
The presentations of the two speakers clearly and concisely summarized the different options for promoting Intellectual Property (IP). Mónica Castilla -Head of the Area of Dissemination, Communication and Business Relations of the SPTO- detailed the grants and subsidies for the registration of patents and the IP Diagnosis service of the Office. For her part, Patricia Sarasola, Head of National Business Development at ClarkeModet, offered an overview of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) grants for SMEs, as well as other aid mechanisms.
At the end of her speech, Patricia Sarasola summarised all the mechanisms dealt with in both presentations and their characteristics, deadlines and other details. This was followed by an extensive question time -about 30-, which the speakers answered almost completely in record time. The remaining questions were subsequently answered by email.
