The Madrid Science Park (FPCM) is a non-profit foundation created in 2001 by the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) to promote innovative scientific and technological entrepreneurship and promote technology transfer. Its board of trustees is completed by the leading State Public Research Body in R+D, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), together with the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council.

Located in the north of Madrid, the FPCM is a safe option for entrepreneurs who wish to work in a strategic environment where Universities, Research Centres, Industries and Companies come together in their commitment to R+D+i. More than 320 companies have developed their innovative project at the FPCM, of which two out of three (64%) have successfully prospered.

The FPCM offers 8400m2 of laboratories and offices for innovative scientific-technological entrepreneurship, equipment and technical and business support services, as well as scientific Genomics services to research groups, hospitals and companies at national and international level.

In addition, the FPCM is a member of the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest network of support for SMEs with a vocation for internationalization, created by the European Commission in 2008.
