More than 8000 m² of facilities for the support of entrepreneurs and R+D

The Madrid Science Park is the perfect place to develop science-technology start-ups and spin-offs. Located on the UAM-CSIC Campus of Excellence, surrounded by research centres and the university scientific community, it has everything to promote your innovative project. The only one in the Community of Madrid with wet laboratories, it also has other spaces and laboratory and shared use services.

There are two ways to incubate in the Park:

Physical incubation: installation in one of the spaces at the Park’s headquarters (offices, coworking stations, laboratories and shared laboratories)

Virtual incubation: modality for companies that do not wish to occupy physical space in the Park but do wish to be linked to it and enjoy its services.

Workspaces

Laboratories

Laboratories equipped and delivered turnkey, between 26 and 102 m2. Pre-installation for supply of domestic hot and cold water, distilled water, vacuum and special gases (synthetic air, Ar, CO2, H2, He2, N2, O2). Air conditioning (adaptable). Technical furniture (benches, storage, sink, fridge, gas cabinet, RF cabinets and trays).

Bureaux

Furnished offices of between 7 and 118 m2. Maximum flexibility and adaptability when it comes to customising spaces to the needs of the company, and advice for this.

Coworking

Fixed laboratory and/or office workstations in areas shared with several companies. Basic furniture and equipment in both types of space.

Common areas

24x7 reception

Building open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Reception of visitors, access control and surveillance rounds. Reception and delivery of mail, virtual fax and parcel (includes cold).

Meeting rooms and training room

185 m2 fully equipped and distributed in six meeting rooms (4-6 pax), a boardroom (30 pax) and an auditorium/training room (76 pax). Room booking platform.

Bureaux

Whiteboards, screens, projectors and wi-fi in all meeting rooms and the training room/auditorium.

Maintenance, cleaning and waste management

Facility maintenance service, including regulatory reviews, emergencies and advice. Daily cleaning service of all spaces. Waste removal and separation. Clean point. Incident management.

Laboratory equipment and services

Commonly used equipment: magnetic stirrer, cold room and chests (-20 and -80 °C), autoclaves, analytical and granatary balances, thermostatization and ultrasonic baths, gas cupboards, centrifuges, vacuum concentrator, electrophoresis equipment, spectrophotometers, ovens and incubators, freeze dryer, magnifying glass, ice maker, microwave, inverted and direct optical microscopes, muffle, NanoDrop, Ferris wheel, pH meters, thermoblock, thermal cycler, transilluminators. Services (*: additional contracting): monitoring of laboratory equipment and warning in case of failure, supply of type I and II distilled water, carbonated snow, liquid N2 and gas bullets*, cryoprotection of samples, reagent storage, collection of laboratory waste, sterilization of consumables and washing of gowns*.

Electricity and air conditioning

Electricity supply through normal network, generator set for laboratories and UPS to guarantee service at all times. Centralised air conditioning and thermostats in each space.

Network and Internet Architecture

Symmetrical 1Gb primary optical fiber for the entire building and firewall. Additional services under contract (server hosting, targeted filtering, VPN-SSL remote access, IT support, etc.). Data points and configuration of isolated local networks of each company. Wi-Fi network in meeting rooms, auditorium and hall. Intranet.

Parking and visitor parking

Underground parking for companies, under contract. Exclusive outdoor parking for visitors. Covered parking for bicycles. Ample availability of parking in the area.

Rest spaces and others

Outdoor and indoor rest and dining areas, vending machines, refrigerators, microwave and sink. Breastfeeding room. Changing rooms, showers and lockers.
