The FPCM coordinates the second edition of APTENISA to promote deep tech business projects. In this edition, 100 business ideas and 32 scientific-technological start-ups will be accelerated. In addition, 50 business angels will be trained. The call will open in the coming weeks (it will be announced on social networks and on the FPCM website) and seeks highly innovative business ideas and start-ups , with a strong scientific-technological component, that provide disruptive solutions in any sector.
APTENISA is promoted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and co-financed by the National Innovation Company, SME, SA (ENISA). The FPCM coordinates the 2023 edition together with La Salle Technova Barcelona , in which nearly a dozen science and technology parks in the country participate. The FPCM brings to APTENISA its extensive experience in the acceleration of deep tech start-ups with the Lean LaunchPad methodology, developed for this sector at the Universities of Stanford and California Berkeley, thus consolidating its commitment to scientific and technological entrepreneurship.
One project, three programmes
The APTENISA project was launched in 2022 and has three programs: APTENISA Start, APTENISA Launch , and Investors Network. The first is aimed at people with innovative ideas, which at the end of the program become business models. The Launch program is aimed at scientific-technological start-ups that have recently been established or are close to it, and seeks to validate their business model in the market. Finally, Investors Network offers successful entrepreneurs from participating parks training to become business angels who can invest in the early stages of deep tech start-ups.
APTENISA thus seeks to complete the cycle of support for entrepreneurship in science and technology and strengthen the national ecosystem. The program also includes, under the coordination of the FPCM, advice from successful entrepreneurs and experts in technology-based start-ups , and workshops on key areas of deep tech entrepreneurship.
