The organisers of the first edition of the Health to Market Awards, which arises as a collaboration between the FPCM and EIT Health Spain, EIT Health’s co-location centre, have decided which projects and companies are the winners of this first edition.

The 1st edition of the Health to Market Awards help to complement the set of activities of the FPCM in its work of promoting, promoting and supporting the creation and growth of new technology-based companies, especially those that direct their innovations to the health, medical or biomedical sector and that have an impact on the internationalization activities of the Park. EIT Health is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.

The objective of these awards is to offer advanced development and internationalization services to young innovative business projects/companies related to regional health technologies, aligned with the Ris3 Madrid strategy, and with ambition to access the European market. The awards will select three winners in two categories, based on the age and life cycle of the project.

The companies and projects awarded in the established categories of the award are the following:

The jury has recognised the degree of innovation, commercial and international potential and impact of the projects presented. He also mentioned the contribution to the Madrid health ecosystem through the development of new innovative products and services.

In addition, the jury’s panel of experts has highlighted the potential for collaboration of the winning proposals with entities of the regional R+D+i system. He also underlined the commitment and international dimension of the projects, whose impact will serve to open new doors in the improvement of people’s health and well-being.

These awards are a recognition of the dedication and effort of entrepreneurs and research in the field of health. After the resolution of this first edition of the Health to Market awards, it is expected that they will be consolidated as inspiration and motivation for companies and research projects that decide to follow their example.
