As part of the 15th edition of Science Week and the 12th Entrepreneur Week, the Madrid Science Park invites both young and old to get a close look at the activities of scientific and technological entrepreneurs. On this occasion, biotechnology will be the central focus of the three scheduled activities:
On Thursday, November 5th from 12:00 to 13:00, the Park opens its doors so that the general public can experience the day-to-day life of a scientific entrepreneur. During a one-hour guided tour of its facilities, attendees will discover the latest advances in biotechnology while visiting the laboratories of some of the country’s most innovative companies. On the other hand, together with the Association of Biotechnology Communicators and Asbiomad, the Madrid Science Park hosts on Wednesday, November 11 at 9:00 AM, the “#cafebiotec: Training and talent, keys to disseminating biotechnology“. A relaxed participatory breakfast that will feature as guests of honor Fernando Menéndez, President of AsBioMad; Luis Truchado, HeadHunter specialized in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry; and Martín Hernández-Palacios, Director of Aliter. Finally, the youngest participants (between 6 and 10 years old) can enjoy a children’s science workshop on the afternoons of Tuesday, November 3rd and 10th from 18:00 to 19:00. Led by Science4you, a company associated with the PCM, children will use real laboratory equipment and conduct their own experiments. Register here
