We usher in summer 2023 in the Park

XI FPCM Connect and its food welcome -not so hot- summer 2023 in the Park. On June 1, the long-awaited meal that kicks off the summer took place in the Park, although the temperatures and rain did not seem to think the same. In addition, there was also a moment to enjoy the presentation of three new companies that have recently joined the park. Of course, between laughter, music and a snack.

Welcome to summer 2023 with three new companies in the Park

The day began with the eleventh edition of FPCM Connect. The meeting served to give a voice to three new companies, learn about their work and bring them closer to the rest of the Park’s community. The Head of Communication and Institutional Relations, Carmen Gilabert, was in charge of presenting the event. After briefly describing what the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) gave way to the “songs” of these companies, from very different fields from each other.

The Connect began with the pitch of Lynx, a company that focuses its work on the development of model-based software and artificial intelligence for the detection and prevention of fraud in financial transactions. Continued with Digital Earth Solutions, a company that, with the intention of minimizing the impact generated by oil spills on coasts and seas, has developed a unique software capable of predicting in a few minutes and with high accuracy the geographical evolution of any oil spill, forecasting its trajectory in the ocean for the next five days. Last but not least, Nanological, a company focused on the development, manufacture and commercialization of point-of-care (PoC) devices for the diagnosis of infectious diseases such as sepsis. This device consists of optical measurement equipment, disposable chips and analysis software . Nanological’s technology allows infectious agents to be directly detected on a sample of the patient’s blood, obtained from the patient’s blood. A result in minutes.

As usual, the Connect was closed by the Head of Communication, thankingthe staff of the Park and all those present at the event.

A day of snacks and long conversations

This year the day took place in the dining room of the Park, where about 190 people enjoyed the meal. On this sunny day, the staff of the Different companies and the FPCM team savored a snack paired with wine, beer and soft drinks. Between cheese, dogfish, omelette and croquettes, conversations of all kinds were held, accompanied by a Playlist created by the attendees themselves.

In this way we welcomed last Friday the summer 2023 – which seems to be delayed – in the Park.

For the memory, here is an album with the photos of the event.
