Demo Day in the metaverse: APTEnisa Start closes its first edition at the Madrid Science Park.
The last one, in the metaverse, was said goodbye to APTEnisa Start in the first edition held at the FPCM. The APTE and Enisa ideation programme thus demonstrated its innovative vocation. Not only did it help to land six technology-based entrepreneurship ideas and turn them into business projects. He also put into practice the innovative spirit of the entire APTEnisa program, exploring the possibilities of the metaverse, the virtual reality universe so much in vogue in recent times.
After a long month of training with Néstor Guerra, it was time to present the accelerated projects. “On Tuesday and the thirteenth,” the saying goes, “neither marry nor embark.” But it says nothing about Monday and the thirteenth. That is why the participants of the program embarked without superstitions and with an entrepreneurial soul in virtual reality. Previously, to avoid shipwrecks, they were given a short hands-on introductory training to the metaverse and helped set up and pair each computer with a pair of 3D glasses. Equipped with these tools, the teams presented their projects and received constructive criticism from all attendees.
Diverse profiles, common entrepreneurial spirit
The six entrepreneurial ideas participating in APTEnisa Start FPCM have covered very different areas. Thus, the Ahyres project proposes the development of long-range unmanned systems through the use of hydrogen fuel cells, an approach closely linked to the ecological transition. Scan & Buy is also focusing on this line of sustainability, focused on the e-commerce of local artisanal products through QR codes and other local media.
Also included in this line of digitalization are three other of the accelerated ideas. AR Créatif seeks to promote the use of virtual reality in digital marketing, very much in line with the use of the metaverse on Demo Day. For its part, MICT+ proposes an on-demand training platform specialized in entrepreneurship. The particularity of this platform is that it is aimed at scientific-technological researchers who are thinking of creating spin-offs. In turn, Ecovidaly proposes an app that allows users to know nutritional information, carbon footprint and healthy diet recommendations through their purchase receipts.
Finally, the Stream locator project seeks to develop a non-invasive optical device to visualize the surface circulatory system. Its objective is to solve the lack of precision and reliability of current techniques in health, which sometimes make it difficult to channel for lines, extractions and some diseases. A line very much in tune with the emphasis on Life Sciences and ICT of the companies incubated in the Park.
The metaverse thus closed APTEnisa Start. Follow APTEnisa Launch now, which has already started at the FPCM and whose objective is to launch technology-based business projects on the market.
About APTEnisa Emprende
APTEnisa Emprende is the new business ideation and acceleration program of the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and the National Innovation Company, SME, S.A. (ENISA). The program seeks to facilitate the creation of new companies and reduce the obstacles they face during their growth. The goal is for companies to reach a size that makes them more competitive. This objective is aligned with those of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain and with the Law on the Creation and Growth of Companies. In addition, APTENISA addresses the territorial and connectivity, and the lack of a gender perspective. To this end, it is committed to promoting initiatives that promote the digitalization and implementation of technologies in the different sectors, as well as female entrepreneurship.
In addition to the FPCM, nine other science and technology parks participate in APTEnisa Emprende. These are: Garaia Technology Park, Tecnoparc Technology and Innovation Park, Malaga TechPark, La Salle Technova Barcelona, Balearic Park of Technological Innovation (ParcBit), Science and Technology Park of Tenerife, Technology Park of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Science Park of Alicante and Avilés Science and Technology Park “Island of Innovation”.
