The APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day , held on July 16 at the Park, has brilliantly closed the third edition of this program. Led by Luz López, lead instructor of the company ¿Por qué no?, the event has allowed to learn in detail about the projects participating in this pre-acceleration program to undertake in science and technology. In this edition, the projects, in addition to the traditional diversity of the programme, have reached a particularly high degree of development.

Advertisement Intelligence

Amir Mehjroo presents Advertisement Intelligencia at the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.Amir Mehjroo presented this advertising and content creation platform for SMEs. The platform is designed to provide professional content to companies with few resources and teams with little or no experience in marketing.

Agro4Data

The Agro4Data team presents at the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.The team led by Rubén Estebala focuses on the 70% of the Spanish agricultural sector that is not digitized, and of which 90% would like to be. To this end, they propose a change from manual methods to personalized automatic models of prevention and prediction through an app based on machine learning and AI. They also include an alert system, via app or WhatsApp, based on on-site sensors of farmers or offered by technological partners. According to their data, the use of sensors alone reduces water consumption by 51%. Although Agro4Data is initially being validated in irrigated crops with high added value, it could be scaled to multiple crops.

Gugu Fleets

Presentation of Gugu Fleets during the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.Janeth Vargas made the pitch of this business project already well advanced. Gugu offers a SaaS to manage fleets in real-time. This management allows routes to be optimised, extending the useful life of assets and reducing CO2 emissions. It is currently under development in Latin America, where they have a technological advantage and have already worked with Cemex. On the other hand, they are validating their model in Europe, specifically with Puleva in Spain.

Human/Rise

Presentation of Human Rise during the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.Graziela Di Giorgi, an expert in behavioral science, explained her model to solve the problem of labor turnover, which costs 8000 M€/year to large companies. This problem is fundamentally due to a motivational cause, rather than a financial one.

PolyFIL

Carlos del Fresno presented this project from the Research Institute of the University Hospital La Paz (IdiPAZ) in Madrid. Their proposal (currently in TRL 4) is a liquid blood biopsy to avoid errors in diagnosis with the current stool blood test. This test causes, in the case of polyps, 75% of false negatives, the detection of which would save about €432 million/year in Spain. It would also generate savings in false positives, where in the Community of Madrid alone it would reach about €13 million/year.

Talkee

Pablo Talavante presented his project based on a very simple tool to create chatbots applied to sales and marketing. The tool works fed with company documents that train a software to generate a few lines of code that allow the chatbot to be created.

Touch & Play

Presentation of Touch&Play during the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.José Román Ganzer proposed this business project in the area of space magnetism of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA). Their proposal is a connector for aquatic environments, currently in TRL 4, based on magnetic fields. It is resistant to all types of media, although for the moment they are focusing on jet skis which, due to their smaller size, represent a high percentage of electrification in this medium. They are currently exploring the possibility of carrying out a pilot with different companies.

TradelinkB2 Export Solutions

Presentation of TradeLinkB2B during the APTEnisa Start 2024 Demo Day.Finally, Jaan Ragudo explained this project that aims to help (micro-)SMEs to export globally. To this end, they propose a digital platform with different tools and collaborations with ICEX, the Chamber of Commerce and other partners.

In short, an inspiring Demo Day as the culmination of APTEnisa Start 2024. But although the pre-acceleration program ends here, another door opens, since from September the APTEnisa Launch acceleration program begins to reach the market.

What is APTEnisa Emprende?

It is a program that aims to facilitate the creation of new companies by reducing the obstacles they face in their growth and being more competitive. These objectives align with those of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain and with the Law on the Creation and Growth of Companies (known as the ” startup law”).

In this edition, in addition to the FPCM, six other science and technology parks are participating: Malaga TechPark, La Salle Technova Barcelona, Balearic Park of Technological Innovation (ParcBit), Alicante Science Park, Cartuja Science and Technology Park and Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.
