Spain cannot miss the train of biomedical innovation

Alejandro Arranz, director of the Madrid Science Park, reflects in the A Corazón Abierto column of the Gaceta Médica newspaper on the commitment to biomedical innovation that Spain should have in the coming years.

“Spain is now going through a crucial stage to harness its economic potential and the high capabilities of its human capital in biomedicine, biotechnology, and all types of technologies applied to medicine. We are not talking about research now, but about innovation, that is, generating wealth and employment from that research”.
