UTEK, a leading company in the development of unmanned systems, is looking to fill a position for a Hardware Development Engineer.
Company sector and activity: R&D area of a company specialized in the development of unmanned systems, mainly in USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicles).
Position: Hardware Development Engineer.
Location: Parque Científico de Madrid (c/Faraday 7, Campus de Cantoblanco, 28049 Madrid).
Job Description
The activities at UTEK for the Hardware Development Engineer will focus on the development of electronic systems in their various phases, from specification generation to final integration in the vehicle or the final acceptance tests by the client.
The person selected for the position will be involved in different projects related to unmanned vehicles (USV, UGV, UAV, or UUV), as well as their ground control stations, payloads, and integration with other external systems.
Requirements
The candidate should possess most of the following capabilities:
- Degree in engineering.
- Development of systems based on microcontrollers, mainly PIC32.
- Altium.
- Programming in C and C++.
- Knowledge of:
- Communication buses (RS232, RS485, CAN, ETHERNET, SPI, I2C, etc.);
- Mechatronics;
- Vision and artificial intelligence.
- High level of English.
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Well-organized and methodical.
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred
- Knowledge of the nautical environment.
- PER or similar.
- Basic knowledge and interest in unmanned systems.
