Ommatidia is expanding its team with a Marketing Coordinator for the Marketing and Communication area, proactive and creative, eager to contribute to the company’s international growth and brand recognition.

In this key role, you will participate in the design and execution of our digital marketing strategy, manage internal and external communications, and coordinate our presence at major industry events. Your work will have a direct impact on the visibility of our technologies and on strengthening our market position.

Ommatidia is an innovative tech startup based in Madrid (Spain) and Rijswijk (Netherlands), specialized in advanced laser radar systems, FMCW LiDAR, and multichannel Doppler laser vibrometry. Its cutting-edge solutions are transforming sectors such as automotive, structural monitoring, infrastructure, robotics, energy, security, and railway transportation by offering unprecedented precision in vibration measurement and 3D imaging.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and regularly update our website, optimizing it for user experience and SEO.
  • Oversee content creation and planning on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and other digital channels.
  • Develop engaging digital content, including articles, newsletters, success stories, and technical publications.
  • Monitor and analyze digital metrics using tools like Google Analytics, reporting results to management.
  • Coordinate internal communications (newsletters, corporate updates) promoting a positive brand culture.
  • Write and distribute external communications, press releases, and announcements.
  • Maintain consistent brand image across all company materials and platforms.
  • Plan, organize, and support Ommatidia LiDAR’s participation in international fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and webinars.
  • Coordinate event logistics, liaising with organizers, booth designers, and suppliers.
  • Prepare promotional materials and demonstrations aligned with the company strategy (brochures, datasheets, presentations, and videos).
  • Follow up on contacts obtained at events, supporting the sales team with CRM updates and contact campaigns.
  • Collaborate on targeted digital marketing campaigns and lead management together with the sales team.
  • Engage with relevant online communities and professional networks to increase brand visibility.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related fields. A Master’s degree is valued.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, communication, or event coordination.
  • Proficiency with digital tools: WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, CRM systems, and graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Spanish and other European languages is a plus.
  • Organized individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to events and fairs.
  • Autonomy and proactivity in problem-solving.
  • Interest or experience in sectors such as scientific instrumentation, LiDAR, or robotics is a plus.
