Funditec is looking for an R&D Consultant for the preparation and writing of European Union (EU) project proposals, in Madrid (hybrid mode: on-site and teleworking), with solid experience in preparing applications and reports for European programs such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe Programme, European Defence Fund, and other similar European initiatives.

THE MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Creation, management, coordination, and leadership of consortia of companies, research centers, and public organizations at the European level
- Writing project proposals for EU R&D funding
- Elaboration and coordination of the Excellence, Impact, and Implementation sections
- Specific elaboration of sections on exploitation plans, business, and market of R&D project results
- Specific elaboration of intellectual property plans and technology monitoring reports
- Elaboration and coordination of administrative documentation and budgets for consortium proposals
- Coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and national and European partners to define project ideas, evaluate their viability and conformity with the call and fundable topics
- Global management of the proposal, including final responsibility for the timely, correct, and quality submission of the application
- Reviewing and evaluating European project proposals to improve and ensure proposal quality
- Relationship with main European partners and clients
- Analyzing the activity and markets of client companies and identifying new R&D+i activities that may be eligible for funding
- Collaborating with the business development team in identifying consultancy opportunities related to innovation management and in creating value propositions, offers, and presentations to potential clients
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree, preferably Master’s/PhD, in digital technologies, ICT areas (computer engineering, telecommunications, software, or related fields)
- Scientific-technical specialization
- Postgraduate training in International R&D+i Project Management
- At least 4 years of proven experience in innovation consultancy and in writing, applying for, and managing European projects (preferably RIAs and IAs from H2020 and Horizon Europe or similar European programs)
- Experience in international business development is an advantage
- Experience in preparing and writing other national R&D+i funding proposals (e.g., CDTI, State Research Agency, red.es, etc.) is an advantage
- Willingness to travel across Europe
