The company
Nimgenetics receives recognition from the Forum of Innovative Companies as “Innovative Company 2016”.

These recognitions, which this year celebrate their fourth edition, aim to highlight the work of various Spanish organizations, companies, and personalities linked to innovation.
For the jury, Nimgenetics is an example of a company that is committed to a comprehensive and permanent R policy, as a differential and strategic value of its business. Proof of this is its notable innovative capacity in the development and application of genomic technologies in medicine and research.
Other aspects such as its proposal for the global market, with international presence in Africa, Asia, and America, have not gone unnoticed by the jury members.
As Madrid Science Park, this recognition pleases us, as Nimgenetics laboratories have been located in our facilities since their establishment. This has allowed us to witness the growth and consolidation of the firm in the national and international market.
In addition to the recognition of Nimgenetics as the most innovative company, the Forum of Innovative Companies recognizes this year David Ríos Insúa, Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at URJC and Academic of Sciences, as Innovative Researcher 2016.
And within the category of Support Organization/Institution for Innovation 2016, the Society of Spanish Scientists in the United Kingdom (CERU)/Spanish Researchers in United Kingdom (SRUK) has been awarded, which currently groups more than 600 scientists from different areas of knowledge and professional stages.
The award ceremony was presided over by three of the agents most involved in promoting innovation in Spain: José Manuel Pingarrón, scientific entrepreneur and current Vice-Rector for Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship at the Complutense University of Madrid; Carlos Andradas, Rector of the Complutense University of Madrid and Pepe Molero, current President of the Forum of Innovative Companies.
