Gnanomat, a startup that drives this innovation with the support of the Madrid Science Park, uses proprietary technology through which it is possible to obtain graphene derivatives doped with metal nanoparticles in an industrially scalable process whose properties can be adapted to the needs of each client or application.
Roberto Clemente, founder of Gnanomat, explains to INnovadores that this innovation could be used to create new high-density industrial batteries, called supercapacitors, which would allow energy accumulation for industries of all types. This mixture of graphene and metal nanoparticles could also represent a paradigm shift in electric car batteries, providing them with greater autonomy without affecting their weight or size.
