
On June 26, the first meeting of the Board of Trustees took place for Marta del Castillo, the new general director of the FPCM. The meeting was held a week after the official presentation of Del Castillo to the patrons of the Park.
Before the Board of Trustees, the director presented her strategic plan and the scientific and economic results, reviewed a few days earlier by the Park’s Executive Committee . The financial and organizational director, Mariano Fernández, also participated in this last aspect. In addition, the FPCM’s 2023 annual activity report was presented at the meeting, prepared by the communication unit with the contribution of the entire foundation. - UAM: Amaya Mendikoetxea, UAM rector and current president of the FPCM; Félix Zamora, vice-rector for transfer, innovation and culture; Ernesto Fernández-Bofill, manager; Eduaro Sicilia, president of the Social Council; Damián García, professor and Asunción López, full professor.
- UCM: Joaquín Goyache, UCM rector and current vice-president; Lucía de Juan, vice-rector for research and transfer; Ana María Cantalejo, manager and María Teresa Villalba, professor.

Next steps of the new stage
After the Board of Trustees, the next steps in this new stage of the Park are being considered. On July 15, the first team meeting of the FPCM will take place after the arrival of Del Castillo. In it, the director will present her strategic plan to all the staff. In addition, each unit will present its progress and future challenges, in order to coordinate the work of the entire team. In parallel, the new management will work on an Action Plan, which will set out in detail how to achieve the objectives of the Strategic Plan.
