PlenOptika is a company that emerged from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Madrid–MIT M+Visión Consortium. The founders participated in a biomedical technology innovation initiative, through which experience they felt compelled to address the problem of poor vision affecting more than a billion people worldwide.
Their mission is to make eye care easy for anyone who needs it in the United States and accessible to underserved and low-income communities around the world.
