Silk Biomed

Silk Biomed is a spin-off of the Center for Biomedical Technology at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (CTB-UPM) dedicated to the research, development, and manufacturing of high-tech products based on silk fibroin. Our medical products have applications for repairing and regenerating tissues in the human body. Silk Biomed’s green and safe technology allows for the development of new methods of drug and cell delivery that protect and repair damaged tissues and organs without affecting human health and that of the planet.
