Lynx Financial Crime Tech is looking for a Virtualization Engineer to work remotely.

Position: Virtualization Engineer.

Contract Type: Full-time.

Location: 100% Remote (Full Remote).

What you will do in your job

As a Virtualization Engineer, you will be in charge of the maintenance, evolution, and security of the company’s on-premises, cloud, and workstation infrastructure. You will be part of a technical team responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of the IT environments, contributing vision and experience to the continuous improvement of the systems.

We need someone like you to help us in different areas:
  • Administration and evolution of the on-premises infrastructure (Linux CentOS/Rocky, KVM).
  • Management and optimization of the cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Support and maintenance of workstations (Linux and Windows).
  • Implementation of security policies on systems and networks.
  • Administration and improvement of the VMWare and KVM virtualization infrastructure.
  • Automation of tasks and processes with Ansible and scripting.

 

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Advanced administration of Linux (CentOS/Rocky) systems.
  • Virtualization in VMware environments.
  • Automation with Ansible.
  • Management of networks and firewalls in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting.
  • Experience with Docker containers.
  • Experience with backup tools such as Veeam.
  • Administration of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, WAF, etc.).

 

Education
  • Computer Science Degree or similar.

 

Valuable skills and knowledge
  • Upper-intermediate English level (B2/C1).
  • Knowledge of DNS, OpenLDAP, and Nagios.
