Drage & Mate International S.L. is an EBT specialized in R in chemical engineering that was founded in Murcia in 2011, led by its founder and CEO Dr. D. Amalio Garrido Escudero.

With its multidisciplinary team, Drage Mate puts its experience at the service of the client to solve technical problems, improve, optimize, and innovate in industrial processes, and to offer assistance solutions in chemical engineering, with emphasis on chemical and environmental processes.

Thanks to its RD, Drage Mate has developed METALIQ®, a novel product to generate pure and low hydrogen in situ for energy purposes. METALIQ® does not consume energy during generation, is autonomous, does not emit greenhouse gases, and has no combustion reactions. The generated hydrogen can be supplied to a fuel cell to produce electricity (solid or liquid state). Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is obtained as a by-product of the process, which is a powerful CO₂ absorbent.

Another technology developed by DM is the DECO2 system, for decarbonizing industry. This system focuses on the chemical capture of CO₂ gas streams and is combined with process operations to obtain highly valuable green by-products for the industry. This combination makes DECO2 a unique technology capable of combining with METALIQ® hydrogen generation to obtain zero CO₂ emission natural gas units.

Drage Mate provides its clients with know-how, experience, development methodology, project RD management, laboratory-scale testing, final prototype solutions, and basic engineering for industrial scaling, all under a highly confidential environment.
