Science and Technology Contest in Women, 2022.<\/h4>\n

The Video Contest of the Science and Technology in Women<\/a> program is now open! In its fourth edition, our Park participates again to promote scientific and technological vocations among ESO students.<\/p>\n

The “Challenges for Sustainable Development” Contest <\/strong>aims for students to present solutions to existing problems related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) <\/strong>set out in the #Agenda2030<\/strong> promoted by the United Nations General Assembly. These challenges are related to health and well-being, gender equality, affordable and clean energy, decent work, economic growth, climate action… <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Competition with prize<\/h4>\n

Students from 1st to 4th year of ESO from schools in the Community of Madrid can send their video-proposal, before March 11, 2022<\/u><\/strong>, to the Madrid Science Park Foundation. The format and characteristics of the videos are detailed in the contest rules. The objective of the video must be one or more actions with which to contribute to the SDGs. These challenges relate to five areas: people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships. This video<\/a> clearly explains how to participate in the contest. <\/p>\n

Once the deadline for receiving proposals has closed, the FPCM jury will meet to choose a finalist video. The FPCM will send this video to APTE before March 21, 2022. APTE will evaluate the proposals submitted by the participating parks and announce the winning proposal at the national level on April 21. The award will consist of a commemorative plaque, informative material on scientific\/technological topics for the group and a book of notable women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics throughout history for each member. <\/p>\n

A program of great importance<\/h4>\n

The Science and Technology in Women program has the participation of 20 science and technology parks throughout Spain and is coordinated by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE).<\/a> In addition to the competition, the programme has developed various materials for the promotion of vocations, which can be downloaded here<\/a>. <\/p>\n
