On 29 and 30 January, the Park boasted of its innovation at S4i 2025 (Science for Industry),<\/a> which took place at La Nave in Madrid<\/a>. In the increasingly consolidated appointment with transfer, innovation and the connection between research and business, the joint work of companies, FPCM and employers made the work that is carried out behind closed doors shine. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Great visibility of the Park at S4i 2025<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The presence of the Madrid Science Park at S4i 2025 multiplied that of 2024. To begin with, a stand in front of the fair, next to those of the organizers of the fair: the UAM<\/a> -one of our patron universities- and BeAble Capital<\/a>. To follow, a great participation with 17 of the incubated companies presenting their prototypes at our stand, 7 participating in the investor tours and 4 as participants in the pitch<\/em> competition. <\/p>\n

With these ingredients, the Park registered more than 800 visits to its stand in the two days. These visits generated almost 200 professional contacts over the two days, which will bear fruit in the coming months. And to close, a decisive institutional support from our patrons throughout the fair that reinforced the image of the Park and put the finishing touch to our participation. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Park’s companies, the stars at S4i 2025<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Without a doubt, the protagonists of the S4i on behalf of the Park were the companies, which came to the event with innovation with enthusiasm and a deployment of prototypes and products. No less than 17 incubated startups showcased their developments: Bioactive Surfaces, Biohope, Coolx, Drage&Mate, Empirical Advances, EvoEnzyme, Evonik, Frialtec, IVAQ, Lidax EOS, Lifesome Therapeutics, Nanological, Monitoring Life, Omnia Mater, Orbital Paradigm, Silk Biomed and SkinTarget BD. <\/p>\n

It is definitely a luxury to have these companies incubated in the Park. And even more so to see its innovative solutions to solve problems such as sepsis, the spatial transport of micropayloads, the rejection of prostheses, the search for avalanche victims, cardiac monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, dermatitis or the synthesis and modification of new drugs, to mention just a few. <\/p>\n

Not only that, but seven of them were selected to participate in the innovation journeys<\/em>, guided tours for investors from different sectors. Specifically, our companies participated in the aerospace, agri-food, energy and health sectors. In addition to all of the above, four of the Park’s companies participated in the pitch<\/em> competition, of which two were not at the stand: Copal Scientific and Nanostine. <\/p>\n

Strong institutional support for the Park<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Special mention should be made of the constant and decisive support received by our Patrons<\/a> and various authorities throughout the fair. The Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, Emilio Viciana, dedicated a long visit to the stand, with our general director, Marta Del Castillo V\u00e1zquez. During the meeting, the Bioactive Surfaces and Nanological teams were able to explain their developments. <\/p>\n

Also visiting the stand were \u00c1ngel Ni\u00f1o, Councillor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council, Amaya Mendikoetxea, Ernesto Fern\u00e1ndez-Bofill and F\u00e9lix Zamora -rector, manager and vice-rector for transfer, innovation and culture of the UAM, respectively- and Federico Mor\u00e1n, director of the Madri+d Foundation for Knowledge.<\/p>\n

A very positive balance<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In short, a great fair (congratulations to the organizers), a great participation of the entire Park and a great choral success in presence, visibility, contacts and future projects<\/span>, which we hope will crystallize in new opportunities.<\/p>\n
