Additionally, the founding team of Bioo Lite, students from La Salle University, have received the special Startup-Madrid Scientific Park award, which will provide them with a space and all the business advice they need to grow their innovative idea.<\/p>\n

Their system for generating electricity from plant photosynthesis and the enthusiasm of its founders has won over the jury and the audience present.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Along with them, more than 200 students from 24 public and private universities in Spain have participated in the 8th edition of Startup Programme. A total of 74 projects, of which only 14 teams were chosen as finalists to present their ideas to the gala audience. <\/p>\n

Startup Programme<\/a> is an international benchmark in university entrepreneurship. Since its inception, it has been designed to address the challenges and needs of university entrepreneurs, foster their business initiative, bring them closer to the working world, and turn them into job creators. In Spain, the program is organized by Junior Achievement<\/a><\/strong> and the University-Business Foundation<\/a><\/strong> (FUE). The initiative also has the support of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, the Repsol Foundation, Cisco, PWC, ASCRI, the Madrid City Council, and the Madrid Scientific Park.
